When I came up with the idea for Violet and slowly figured out her personality, her background, her likes and dislikes... never in a thousand years would I have imagined that she'd be so LOVED that she'd got not one, not two, but a total of 17 fanworks dedicated to her. SEVENTEEN. That's literally the highest number of fanworks that I've ever received based on something that I wrote, and in this case, to make it even more special, it's my very first Super Mario OC that I've ever created.

So, really, this is seriously a dream. You guys spoil me with your AMAZING art and ideas. And you all draw my girl so CUTE. I swear I can't choose just one of the many fanarts I've received, because she looks incredibly pretty and adorable in every single one of them and I love and treasure them all dearly 💜💜💜

Found family anime recommendation list

I've been thinking about making this rec list for a while because found family is my absolute favorite trope, so this is really self indulging haha 🤭

these are just some of my personal favorites, but if you guys have more recommendations please add them!

(This list contains spoilers!)

1. Dororo- absolutely heartbreaking and beautiful. the two main characters, Dororo and Hyakkimaru, develop such a special and precious bond throughout the story, and what makes it even more interesting is that at the beginning, Hyakkimaru is not able to see, hear, or really communicate with Dororo, and he gets those abilities slowly throughout the story (through killing demons haha yes it's that kind of story), so it makes the development of their relationship really unique. Both of them don't have their actual families for different reasons, but I absolutely LOVE the familial relationship they develop!

2. spy x amily - everyone's new favorite family lol. I don't think I need to elaborate, I love the little family they've built. it's so cute how all three of them have their own selfish reasons to want to keep this family unit, but at the same time care so deeply (and obliviously) for each other, I love it! there's not a single character I dislike, there wasn't a single episode i was bored watching (so far). it's like the perfect found family - they found each other, and just created a family instantly haha. If for any reason you're still not watching this, you really really should

3. banana fish - ugh honestly it's hard to find words for this one, it's so so SO good, but also, watch at your own risk, it's been years and my heart still hasn't recovered. The relationship between the two main characters, Ash and Eiji, is so beautiful and touching and tender, and it's so satisfying to watch. Ash deserves all the love omg 😭 I love how they take care of each other, how it's obvious to everyone how much they love each other. and i hate how it ended but that's a talk for another time...

4. Run with the wind - ok so i think most sports anime have an aspect of found family - your teammates become kinda your family, and friendships and bonds are usually the main focus. but i think it's especially highlighted in run with the wind - it's a show about running a marathon, and it's in a university setting (which already makes it more interesting lol). i LOVE connections between the characters. here as well, there's not a single character i dislike. even king who i didn't really care about in the beginning, I grew to love so much by the end. and Haiji might be my favorite character of all times. like throughout all platforms, he's my favorite. he created this team and he made them a family and i just wish i had a haiji in my life, you know? 😭

5. march comes in like a lion - ok, so, this one is especially precious to me, and i think it's my favorite anime of all times. officially, the show is about a boy who plays shogi professionally, and it is a part of it, but there's so much more to this anime. I've never watched anything that handled depression, and the journey of getting better, in a more accurate way than this show. the main character, Rei, is an orphan, and has a really complicated life story. he meets these three sisters, and is kinda invited to be a part of their little family. the relationships in this show are so touching and tender, even when nothing sad was happening i found myself crying. the sisters basically adopt rei, and little by little help him heal some of his wounds. the visuals of this show are perfect, you can feel everything rei is feeling. the sisters' house feels warm and inviting, while other spaces feel cold and disconnected. it's brilliant. also, the show handles the different characters with so much care, you end up caring about them all. i can go on forever lol, it's a masterpiece.

6. kids on the slope - another brilliant show. this is a slice of life, and the focus is on the friendship of three teens in the 60's. i love this one because even though they all have families that play a part in the story, they still become like a family to one another. their relationships are so touching, and so realistic. it deals with jealousy and friendship and love and loneliness in such a realistic, relatable way. for example one of the boys gets really jealous when his friend gets a new friend, it makes him lash out in such an unreasonable way, but at the same time you can totally relate to what he's feeling, because like, which one of us hasn't been there, right? i really recommend! (Also, the music is absolutely fantastic!)

7. Umibe no Etranger- maybe some people would think this doesn't belong here, but i totally think that along with love, this movie is totally about found family 😊 the two main boys are both on their own, Mio because he was orphaned, and Shun because he lost connection with his family after coming out. throughout the story, they become each other's family and support system (especially if you keep reading the manga like i have hehe🤭). i love their relationship so much!

8. fruits basket - again, maybe it's not the main trope, but it's definitely very much there! tohru, who is left without a family, finds a new family in the form of the very dysfunctional sohma family, that cares about her immensely, while she also cares about them and helps them heal and break their curse. i never read the manga or watched the old anime, and i didn't expect this to be as deep and painful as it was, but honestly one of my favorite shows right now.

9. Poko's udon world - so! freaking! cute! is it a ploy to make people have families and kids? perhaps. do i care? nope. Poko is the cutest child character ever, and the parent-child relationship between sota and poco is so precious, this is the most literal definition of a found family lol- sota found poco and basically instantly adopted him. the story is really touching and cute!

10. Clannad + Clannad after story - ugh i don't know if I'm able to talk about this one again, as it makes my heart hurt. this is one of my all time favorites. i think even though it's a love story, above all else it's a story about family. i wasn't sure if it fits the "found family" category but decided it does. even before nagisa and tomoya get married, tomoya is basically adopted by nagisa's family. they take him in to allow him some distance from his father, and show him how happy and loving a family can be. Also, all the friendship in the story are meaningful and have a familial feel to them. throughout the show there's a lot of focus on the subject of family, which leads to the main characters creating their own new little family unit. if you've been living under a rock i must warn you, I've never cried this much while watching a show in my life. while the ending is a happy one (well... in a bizarre kind of way, i guess), there's so much pain throughout the whole show, it's overwhelming at times. still, it's so so good and i really recommend to give it a try! (please, get through the first season and get to Clannad after story, it's really worth it!)

11. Usagi drop- i also wasn't sure if this fits the found family category, as it deals with an actual family, but wth, it's my list i can do what i want lol. very sweet story about a guy who adopts his grandfather's 6 year old daughter when he dies (yes, his aunt, basically), when no one else in the family wants to take her in. it's very sweet, very touching. they slowly become a family, and he learns what it means to be a single parent, and what sacrifices he has to make (like getting demoted at his job so he'll have more time to take care of his kid). the show is very wholesome, but don't read the manga, as i heard it went in different, less wholesome directions.

12. kotaro lives alone- this show was a ride! i was expecting a silly show about a 4 year old boy who lives alone, and got a heartbreaking show about neglect and trauma. his neighbors become his family throughout the show, and come to love him a lot and take care of him, and their relationships are very entertaining and sweet. ngl, i cried a lot during this show. i do think it deals with some very triggering things, so you should check that before watching 😊

so you choose aaron but make it clear you're marrying out of duty to your family and not for love so he shouldnt expect anything from you and he just agrees and youre shook because he doesnt even seem surprised?? and hes like "i already have a son for an heir so you dont have to bear me children or even consummate the marriage if you dont want to" and youre like ??? why are you here you really dont seem like you even want to get married?? so he tells you that his advisors have been pushing him to remarry since the year his wife died and that he knows he cant run his city alone anymore plus his son deserves to have a mother figure and you guys make an agreement to marry and that youll do your duty to the throne and care for his son and in return he leaves you to youre own devices and doesnt control youre every move like your parents do.

so you go back to his city with him to stay with him during your "courting period" and you bond so quickly with jack because hes so sweet and precious and you fall in love frfr with that kid and aaron is soooo relieved because he didnt think any woman would want to marry someone so much older than them and have to raise another womans child. and you learn quickly about how the city is run and the ins and outs of what your responsibilities as the dutchess of the city will be. and as you slowly spend more time with aaron the two of you start to fall in love organically.

and its funny because by the time your wedding actually takes place you kind of cant wait to be married and to be able to have aaron and jack by your side forever. and you definitely do end up consummating the marriage. very passionately. (perks of marrying an experienced man is that he knows how to make a lady scream) and your parents are still shocked that you're actually willingly marrying a man. but they stop complaining about your choice in marriage when you welcome yours and aarons precious baby girl 💖

I get so happy when more people see the car guy mike vision! I saw you said you love cars, so I'm curious do you have any thoughts about what you think mike being a car guy means for him/what he likes?

I know for me I love the headcanon but it came naturally from that leadership aspect of him, and I think it suits him to be a main driver amongst the party. plus I think he'd like the responsibility. and I go a bit more into this in a fic I'm working on, but I also like to think he enjoys fixing up his car and finds it a nice challenge/puzzle for his brain! but the actual technical or detailed parts of the headcanon I haven't researched and explored yet because I'm not well versed on cars myself 🙈

ok im gonna be so fr when i say i love cars i mostly just mean i love driving,, i am not super well versed in the actual technical aspects of cars myself either😭 buttt i do absolutely have thoughts about mike and driving and super agree with what you said especially about leadership and responsibility. i think mike Needs to be the one everyone turns to drive them places like he wants that to be his Thing (also him needing to be needed popping up there👀),, now max has also obv expressed interest in that but with her ending up disabled she might be less able to do that especially with the accommodations available at the time and even if she could drive it would be a longer process so i like to imagine mike kinda teaches her the ways of the road and they bond, and similar to how he doesn’t walk on eggshells with will he treats max so normal (hostile lmao) which is probably super refreshing for her with being disabled!! orrr that dynamic could even be reversed like if max is unable to drive but she so Wants to be that for the party, she kinda teaches mike that as a way to live vicariously through him? idk i just love max’s thing with cars and mike is such a car guy its insane. I think its also safe to say he’s very precious about his car like not a single crumb of food will get on his seats if he has anything to say about it. this obviously does not apply to will who can do absolutely no wrong but,, because will can see how much mike cares about his car he helps enforce his little rules with the rest of the party when they don’t take them seriously and mike gets lowkey upset with them about it. i love the idea that mike is the first to get his license so he’s kinda designated driver by default for a little while and ends up spending a ton of one on one time with everyone because of that. one of those people obviously being will, and i think between joyce working so much and jonathan going off to college and them definitely not being able to afford another car (and like love too),, will ends up abusing that aspect the most even before they get together. and while will is doing this cuz he’s like in love and stuff and it makes mike feel all useful, mike does get insecure that will isn’t actually spending time with him cuz he wants to and its just to use him to get around, and then when other people start getting their licenses hes like oh i guess the end of an era will doesn’t Have to just drive with me anymore he won’t need me :( but then obviously he Does and they kiss about it or something

and on the note of the fixing cars and stuff i sooo agree he likes learning new things and being able to fix his car and fix everyone else’s cars. like even after he’s the only one with a license he’s found this other thing to be useful to everyone with. omg also there was this post i saw forever ago about mike fixing up his car while will sits on the hood with his legs crossed drinking a milkshake and the image has fr never left my mind its quintessential passenger princess will and car guy mike to meee. i feel like mike would know so much about cars that it would make him distinctly not cool like he is such a nerd about something that would be considered cool that it circles back around and makes him sooo lame. i do think will would not think its lame tho and it does in fact turn him on when mike talks about his car. maybe mike refers to his car as a “she” and has a name for it and everything and will gets lowkey jealous and has to have car sex with him about it idk 😭

They're so precious to me😭❤️‍🩹 Both Mor and Em deserve something special and I think they can have that with each other<3

So here's my headcanon for these two (both as a couple and as characters):

So let's start with them being mates. Yes they're mates, I refuse anything else!! The author describes the bond as a blessing, as a deeper connection and her couples are mostly mates because she want them to have it all. So I won't tolerate anyone whining about so many mated couples. If you don't like it, don't read it simple as that. (sorry I got heated because this always annoys me lol)

They're a power couple. Mor is a very skilled worrier and before she came of age everyone could feel she's more powerful than the rest and above all, she's NC's third in command. Emerie is the first Illyrian female that is Carynthian and on top of that a Valkyrie.

In acosf, when the Valkyries were making friendship bracelet, Emerie uses green, purple and gold. Siphons have red, blue and green stones and I think Emerie is going to have green siphons. 5 of them to be exact.

And the gold can be a hint at Mor's hair color...

She's also going to have Illyrian tattoos.

Their mating vow is going to be some sort of bargain that is going to appear on the ring finger<3

Mor will try to find a way to heal Emerie's wigs since she's traveling through continent.

And when they're healed, Em will always takes her flying at night.

They're both so possessive but Mor is not subtle at all!

There's this one time an Illyrian male dares to get close to her to insult her in her face. Em is calm and doesn't react but when he abruptly stops talking, she can't help the smirk appearing on her lips.

Because her fierce mate is putting a sword on the idiot's throat and is that blood? yup it is

Emerie is taller than Mor but she's very shy & calm and Mor is her sunshine and energetic mate. Their dynamic has an undertone of sub/dom and we all know who's gonna be who!

At first Emerie is crushing so hard on Morrigan and she's oblivious but she'll catch up slowly.

Since Mor said she likes to join the Valkyries training these two are always in pairs. Mor teaches Em some of her skills and it involves so many touching and Em is so hot and bothered all the time because her crush is touching her elbow and waist!!

In acowar Feyre is so excited to be the matchmaker for Mor so imagine her surprise whenever Mor is talking about her training with the Valkyries, she mostly talks about Nesta's friend and she gets curious.

So she joins the training one day and observes the thing that's going on between these two and realizes she's not the only one, Nesta is sensing somethings too. So she gets to know she has a clothing shop...

She's like:

fey: OMG you don't have any Illyrian leather to wear to training? mor: I literally have several at my house. fey: No you don't, they're burned. Nyx was trying his autumn power and he burned them all. teehee :D nyx: *looking all confused while sucking his tumb* fey: You should totally visit Emerie's shop!! em: *blushing so hard* nes: *face palm*

She's going to be a menace like her mate. She's not that subtle like him tho lmao.

Their first kiss is going to be in the said shop. While Emerie is trying to help her with the ties of her gear.

When Em is not looking, Mor sees her in the mirror and for the first time notices how beautiful she is. Her glowing skin, how the sunlight is shining on her wavy hair and most of all her fulll lips. She also notices her flushed cheeks and heavy breathing.

She's the most beautiful female she has ever seen.

She's so overwhelmed and feels like if she doesn't kiss her right this second she'll compost. So she does.

And for both feels like the sunshine finally revealing herself to their world.

From there, their dynamic is full of teasing and flirting from Mor and blushing from Emerie.

They don't jump into a relationship. There's much to healing and mending for both of them but they'll get there eventually. (I'm not gonna bring the angst here this is just fluff!)

Recognizing their bond isn't a grand, big thing. One night they're at Rita and Mor is dancing on the dance floor and Em is looking at her from the corner of the bar.

Mor senses her burning stare and when they lock eyes, they know...

Feyre will be the one who plans their mating ceremony with the help of Nesta and Gwyn.

She always gloat about how she was the one who pushed them together and she claims it as her biggest success.

Mor might've teased her like the rest of IC if it wasn't true. If Feyre wasn't the one who burned her clothes (LMAO) it might've took them longer to reach where they are.

They would've found their way to each other nonetheless because they both feel that it was inevitable. They were destined to find one another.

They're going to be famous. The Morrigan, who fought two war (probably more at that stage of the book) and The very first female, who has the title of Carynthian...

Tbh at first I thought that Aemond doing a 180 and not feeling regret for killing his brother is out of character for him since he's so bent on performing his duty, plus him not caring for his mother too, but then I tried looking at things from his perspective and it made so much sense.

Aemond had always been doing his duty, working hard, and toiling after something that was easily given to aegon only because he was the eldest son. And aegon had tormented him ever since he was a kid but he still took it to his face, because aegon was his brother, and it was his duty so he basically tolerated all his antics. But then comes his love for the reader, which clashes against his duty, I remember when in Aemond's pov he mentions that he would often make Aegon divert his bullying towards himself so the reader is saved shows how much he loves her.

What was once a pure love has been trampled under aemond's foot, dirtied by his rage, anger, selfishness, yet it still is love and although it was tainted, it didn't stop growing.

Although Aemond seemed to have claimed that he killed his old self, he surely holds onto the memories they both shared as younger kids, from chapter one of his pov to the lemoncake chapter, he relishes in them, willing to forget their differences only to be with her, he knew he couldn't have the same bond as they did before, but he tried.

Yet, Aemond always chose duty over his love, he had been doing so, for long amounts of time, and it surely affected him in a way, plaguing his mind, and especially after aegon raped the reader and to her losing their kid due to aegon, knowing he wasn't able to do anything to prevent it

It was all pent up feelings of helplessness, self regret, he probably felt like a little self again, and especially with reader's words when she called it out, it angered him because he knew she spoke the truth.

And now in the recent chapter, it was a final straw for him, Aemond probably was anxious on his return hoping nothing had happened to the reader, only for the reader to be brought to the throne room and once again be questioned, Aegon's words probably angered him, and his mother not even doing anything probably made him realise the weight of the situation, the weight of her words when she said that she was all alone, and that she had no one except him, and he probably realised he was helpless.

Aemond knew what aegon was saying isn't true, he knew his mother knew that too. Yet he watched as she turned blind eye to it, just as she always had to aegon's behaviour and I'm sure that also angered him. And with Aegon getting cocky thinking nothing could stop him, that he is king and he can do whatever he wants, he tried taking what's precious to aemond, just like he always had, and then tried to proceed and humiliate the reader by stripping her.

At that moment, he felt all these things, feelings catch up to him and he drew his blade and killed Aegon, he didn't feel the sense of duty he had always felt at that moment, nor the family love he had for aegon, no, he felt pure hatred and rage. He would not let aegon take anything from him anymore.

And that not only prevented him losing the reader, but he also got the position he was stolen from for being a second son.

This is how I viewed the situation by thinking in his perspective at least, I might be wrong haha

And seeing his wife, being tormented once again by his brother, he felt how he did as a kid, helpless, alone and useless, then the rage and protectiveness kicked in!

We can also see how overtime, Aemond spoke more openly about his resentment and so did the reader, the two bonding over it once again, like they had when they were kids

why is there so much 😭

When I played the og game by myself without interacting with the community, I never hated Lucifer. I remember him being strict and all, but he wasn't portrayed to me as an incredibly abusive or a horrible guy to his brothers.

His sin is probably one of the better ones to manage and he does it so well. He cares about his family and their pride is his. So of course, when Mammon recklessly indulges in his sin time and time again not thinking of anyone else, Mammon's going to get punished. Does he learn? Sometimes. You can see him always thinking about Lucifer's opinion during certain schemes. But that's what has to happen.

But I think this whole fandom thinks Mammon is so precious and does no wrong just because he's madly in love with MC. And yeah, he's cute and all but that doesn't make Lucifer "and abusive, horrible person." (and omg don't get me started on how some people write Mammon 😭, no judgement from me, but that's a totally difference character you're writing about)

In the early lessons of Nightbringer, when Lucifer saved the brothers from Cerberus, you could see how grateful they brothers were and I wish there was more of that in the game than spite for him. Like I'd love to see a cute family bonding moment.

Lucifer isn't my favourite but he surely isn't all that bad as people make him out to be?

Everything was harmony and silence in the room; there was nothing to disturb his restful sleep.

Until a jet of cold water fell directly on his face, waking him up immediately as he screamed in fear.

Anakin was barely sitting up, trying in vain to remove the water from his face so that he could get his bearings; the bond shared with his Padawan showed how upset the omega was. The alpha didn't understand what was going on.

"Where were you last night!?"

"W-What?"

"What are you talking about, Obi-Wan?"

"Where were you last night!? Don't make me repeat the question again." The omega tightly squeezed the glass that still contained water, glaring angrily at the alpha.

"Come on, honey, you knew I was going out with Rex and Ahsoka to eat something after a long mission."

Obi-Wan angrily headed to fill the glass with more cold water, being stopped by Anakin's pleading voice. "My love, my omega, please—"

"Don't you dare call me like that!" Obi-Wan turned angrily, pointing a finger at him, causing Anakin to crawl to the corner of the bed to avoid being soaked again.

"Okay, okay, baby, I'm sorry." The alpha clasped both hands together in forgiveness as he kneeled on the bed. He would have to play his cards right if he wanted to hold his cute omega in his arms after weeks apart.

"Do you really think I don't know what you're doing, master?" Obi-Wan looked at him seriously as he continued to point his finger at him. "You have a son now, Anakin; you are now a father, and you still behave like a child!"

Obi-Wan didn't give him time to reproach him and threw the cold water straight in his face forcefully, leaving the room in search of more cold water while hearing Anakin's scream.

"My love, you know what? You don't know how to control your anger!" Anakin wiped his soaked face again.

"Who was the fool who couldn't even enter the code at the door because of how drunk he was and crawled all over the apartment, making noise and throwing everything in his path while shouting my name? On top of that, you woke Cal up!"

Anakin began to mutter angrily, hoping that Obi-Wan would not hear him, but great was his surprise when the omega entered the room again, ready to throw a large glass of ice water in his face.

"No, no! Don't you dare throw that water on me! Don't even think about it." Now it was Anakin who pointed a finger at the omega, who was still looking at him annoyed. "Yes, darling, now what we have to do is talk; we will use words. Is that what you want? I ask you, my love; talk to me; talk to your alpha."

Anakin was no longer seeing Obi-Wan's precious eyes; his eyes went down to the omega's breasts; they were now bigger after giving birth. His Padawan, since he introduced himself as an omega, has had an almost obsessive taste in wearing lingerie of all colors and fabrics, driving the alpha crazy.

And today was no exception. Obi-Wan was wearing a white babydoll that highlighted his curves very well, and after the constant movements of the omega, the soft fabric that covered his chest gradually slid, almost leaving nothing to the imagination, making Anakin sigh excitedly.
